Idea Development - updated problem statement

We ended up coming up with two slightly different variations of our main idea.

The first uses a single pop up event that will move location from day to day over a fortnight. Ideally, people will stumble upon it, contribute and become at least slightly interested in the topic. Because of this, and that they can see their own contribution in a museum they will end up visiting TePapa when the new exhibition comes out. The contributions will become a section of the exhibition which will span another two weeks so that the whole thing is over in a month and the next exhibition can start gathering contribution. This will introduce the constant change that Sally has grown up with and now craves.

The second variation is over a longer time frame. There would be 4 different pop up locations at once, all with different contribution methods that will not move. They will be around for a month, finishing with a large festival at TePapa to celebrate the opening of the new exhibition. During the one day festival people can still contribute. They will get a first look at the new exhibition and be able to see their contribution in context. The exhibition will last a year with the pop-ups and the festival being an annual thing over summer.
