Final 2 problem statements

We tried to flesh this problem statement out but decided, the problem is too generic:

Nomad

Laura is a Kiwi millennial who spends half of her time in Wellington and the other half travelling.
She likes to immerse herself in a city and discover the communities culture. When she returns home she like to see what new in Wellington

She needs refreshing new content on her journey to rediscover wellington as thrives on discovering whats new.

But surprisingly the exhibitions that can provide new experiences and content are not free. The longterm free exhibits are stale and she has seen then all before.

But surprisingly Te papa is more about feeding you information, it feels static and hasn’t changed since she was young, she has seen it all already.

Te Papa is boring
Hasn't change
not current
nothing new
one way dialogue
want to go because its free
doesn't want to pay to see the good stuff thats temporary- want to longterm to be changing and take her on a journey

(Narrative, power of choice, journey, independence, discovery)
Needs: enlighten me, empower me, inspire me, activate me.

Second choice:

The local

24-year-old Sally is a part time student working two jobs in wellington. She spends her free time looking to play, learn and socialize.
Jenny needs a way to socialize with friends in a comforting environment, one that has opportunities to be playful and hands on with the opportunity to share the experience with others.
Surprising Te Papa doesn’t provide a comforting, homely space for locals to share in experiences and socialize; a hub that captures wellingtons community or culture.

(Playful, comforting, socialising, homely, cozy)

Needs: connect me, comfort me, inspire me
